Description below of the point of the assignment:

This project we will be creating a ten (10) value monochromatic print. You must use white of the paper. This will count as 0.  The paper size that we will be using is 80 lb uncoated vellum card stock measuring 11" x 17". Your image size needs to be 9" x 15" That will allow a 1" border around the image.  You can print your image using either blue or red ink. This project is due. Sept 12, at the beginning of class. you will hand in two prints. On one print you will mark each value from the image below. Begin with 0, which will be white of the paper and mark all the way up to 10, which will be black, or the darkest colors. You must use all values in your print.  You will do nothing on the second print. It just needs to be signed, editioned, and titled. I will get edition 1/12 and 12/12. I will keep both of these prints.

   The theme for this print is, "Water Is Life". Your print should be based on water as a resource.
