For your final project you will be responsible for designing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the start screen of a game. You will be provided with a selection of images to choose from. You will need to create a GUI over this image that compliments the style of the game and artwork inside of Illustrator, including buttons (pressed/hovered and standard) as well as your basic menu options and integrate them into an exciting layout.

Your elements will be crafted inside of Adobe Illustrator including all buttons, logos, windows or overlays as well as your text. All elements must be converted to outlines or expanded before the transfer.

You will then move these elements to Photoshop and finish compositing your final image.

Grading points:

Your final comp should include basic color correction.
Must create an app name and use good typography
Must create an interesting composition, layout, and design
Must use depth. lighting, shading & value to add visual interest.
Buttons must have an element of depth (ie. drop shadow, bevels, overlays etc...)
Must have at least one button that shows as (clicked/hovered)
